Vivo slots in the middle of Sync and Zero and after a few weeks of hitting, it has become my favorite Restring string. It is six-sided and comes in a fresh turquoise color.
It is somewhere in between firm and soft and plays very nicely at lower tensions. I tried it at 53 lbs in the Babolat Pure Drive 100, at 44 lbs in the Nordicdots Model 100 and at 49 lbs in the Babolat Pure Aero 98. I preferred it at the lower tensions. Even down at 44 lbs or 20 kg, it played with good control and I am usually not a fan of going this low with my string tension.
It also seems to hold tensions really well. I measure the DT value with my ERT 300 after every hit and despite starting at a lower tension and playing with spinny racquets on clay courts, it holds the tension. I also felt like it has that dip-in-at-the-last-second that I really value in my strings.
The spin potential and control are excellent, similar to some of my other favorite strings, such as the Nordicdots TS 127 (a bit softer than that one) and Solinco Hyper-G.
If you want a really soft poly, there are better options, but intermediate to advanced players without arm issues will enjoy this one.
An excellent string and this might slowly become one of my favorites. If you want to check out other recommended strings, read this page or why not check out recommended racquets.
